The power of Breath to clear Anxiety

Breath can be used as a tool to instantly shift your state in the moment.

When you are in that spiral, you can tap into breath to instantly change how you are feeling, calming the nervous system & bringing you back to calm.

We all tend to breathe from the chest, especially when feeling anxious or worried, ideally we should be breathing right down into our stomach, this helps more oxygen flow through our body, rejuvenating & regenerating our cels, calming our nervous system & mind.

We can use the breath to take us out of our minds & back into our body, bringing us out of fight or flight mode.

One of my favourite breath techniques for bringing me back into the moment & releasing anxiety, is #boxbreathing (follow the link below for a guided box breathwork).

This technique supports in quickly reducing #stress & #anxiety by giving the mind something to focus on other than the problem we are facing.

When triggered, it is so important to have tools such as these to minimise our stress & support our #wellbeing
